Fifth Sunday after Pentecost

Stewardship Notes: Fifth Sunday after Pentecost – Matthew 10:42 – “And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water, because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” The tithes and offerings you give to the Lord’s work in His church go toward supporting all manner of discipleship. They provide for a minister of the Gospel to preach, teach and conduct the Sacraments; they provide for our missionaries and ministries of mercy here and abroad; and they make sure that the folks in your area have a place to go to worship the Lord. The Lord is pleased with this work, and He wants to bless you through your support of it.

Today – Installation of VBS Staff today: Pastor and Lisa, Freda, Mandi, Briana and Walter, Charlene, Brad, and Phyllis. Please keep the Staff and their students in your prayers this week.
VBS – starts tomorrow from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, and continues until Friday, July 3rd.
No Host Lunch – Seven people enjoyed food and fellowship at Brad’s Burgers this past Tuesday. July lunch TBA by Ms. Sharon.
Next Sunday – Vicar Dan Hollister and his wife, Michelle, and son, Joshua will be visiting. Vicar Hollister will also preach the sermon.
Drive for Orphan Grain Train – Next Sunday: adult undies, cloth or disposable diapers. These items, of course, need to be NEW. Many other items on the list don’t have to be new. Pick up a list and bring in whatever you can. Place on the table in the basement.
Missing Chairs – there are six brown folding chairs missing from the basement. They were there May 24th – gone on the 31st and are still gone. Please return if you have them. If you know who took them, please remind them to return ASAP. Thanks!
Made with Love Club – needs t-shirts to be made into kids’ shorts. No black, white, or Thrivent. Sizes Y-M to A-L. No holes or stains. Leave in my room – thanks!
