Stewardship Notes: 1 Peter 5:6-7 – “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” We have a Father in heaven who really cares for us and loves us. That is the basis of generosity, because such knowledge spells the end of worry, which is the source of all tightfisted greed.
Welcome Visitors – we are blessed to have you join us for Divine Service today. We kindly request you sign our Guest Book at the back of the church and/or fill out a Welcome Card and place it in the offering plate. Thank You.
No Host Lunch – Tuesday at Panda. Noon. Sign up list is in the back.
Congrats to Katelyn Schmitt – She graduated on Friday, May 15th, from FVCC with an RN degree. A reception for her will be May 31st.
Save the Date – Sunday, June 7th. Party for the Thomas family, celebrating Pastor’s 15 years here and 30 years of marriage for him and Lisa. The Church is providing fried chicken. Please sign up on the list in the back so we know how much to buy. Also, provided are rolls and drinks. Charlene is making a huckleberry dessert and Freda is making rosettes. So, we don’t need lots of dessert. Bring salad, veggie, chips, or a hot dish, if you don’t want chicken.
They don’t need presents – just your “presence.” They will appreciate cards, $ is optional. s/Party Committee.
