Today – Sunday School Staff/Evangelism meeting
No Host Lunch – Seven people enjoyed food and fellowship this past Tuesday at Diane’s. Next month’s lunch will be at Cabinet Mountain Brewery.
Lenten Service – March 25th - Soup at 6:00. All are welcome! Sign up if you can donate some food. Church at 7:00.
Next Sunday – Palm Sunday – Friendship (invite someone); Matins (no communion), Children sing; Mites (LWML mission projects); Caring Christians (after eating, we’ll make Easter cards and gifts for Shut-Ins).
Faith Step –Do you worry a lot? This week write a list of your worries and then talk to God asking Him to replace them with His perfect peace.
Books of the Month – on card table in the back. If you don’t see anything that interests you, go to our library. You just might find something there. Happy Reading!
Prayer Shawls – If you know of someone in the community that would appreciate one, they are hanging in the back by the elevator. Directions are there. Also, if you’d like to make some, it would be greatly appreciated. Any questions, contact Freda.
Lutherans for Life Auction - If you wish to donate items, please bring them to church on or before Thursday, March 26th.
“Thank You” – we recently received a “thank you” card from Love’s Journey (PCC) for the Christmas gifts we gave to one of their families. Card is on the back bulletin board if you would like to read it.
Care box for Aaron Thomas – On the 26th, we want to send Aaron a box to let him know he is not forgotten. All members are encouraged to sign their name on a card (do before or after worship today). It’s on the card table by the library books. s/Evangelism Board
If you would like to keep receiving (or start receiving) the Lutheran Witness by mail, please let Sharon know. The new subscription rate is $23.50 per year ($1.95 per issue). Please let Sharon know and get her a check for $23.50 by April 19th.
